NABD-BC2 Participation At the Patient Access to Medicines and Health Products Symposium

The Patient Access to Medicines and Health Products Symposium, held on September 23-24, 2024, at the Conrad Hilton Arzana in Rabat, was a pivotal event organized by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection (MSPS) in collaboration with the Pharmaceutical Companies in Morocco (LEMM). The strong participation of His Excellency, Minister Pr. Khalid Ait Taleb, alongside key officials from the Ministry, underscored the importance of addressing critical issues such as the optimization of regulatory procedures and improving access to therapeutic innovations. These discussions are essential to advancing patient care in Morocco and reflect the Ministry’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the healthcare system. The presence of prominent regulatory authorities, as well as distinguished national and international experts, reinforced the collaborative efforts required to tackle the current healthcare challenges.

On the second day of the symposium, the President of NABD-BC2 Association, Mrs. Ikram Eseghir was honored to contribute to this important dialogue. Mrs. Eseghir delivered a presentation, where she voiced the patients’ perspective on accessing essential innovative medicines and health products. Her insights highlighted the critical role of patient access in improving healthcare delivery and emphasized the importance of maintaining an ongoing dialogue between all stakeholders to ensure that patients benefit from the latest therapeutic innovations.
