NABD-BC2 Vision is to promote access to holistic equitable quality cancer care and improve the lives of breast cancer patients and their families in Morocco. With a steadfast commitment to our core values, we work tirelessly to be the patient’s voice, foster hope and create a brighter and healthier future for those affected by breast cancer.
NABD-BC2 NABD is an Arabic word meaning both “pulse” and “beat”; It reminds us that life continues after a cancer diagnosis. BC 2 is an acronym that stands for Best Care for Breast Cancer.
There are several ways to support our cause. You can volunteer your time for various activities, donate to our organization, or participate in our awareness campaigns, workshops and events. Visit our Become a Volunteer page on the website to learn more about opportunities to contribute.
We offer a range of support services, including patient support groups, awareness workshops and webinars, art therapy, storytelling, spirituality, physical activities, entertainment and outings, individual and group counseling, and assistance. We also share useful information about administration and insurance procedures in public and private health care institutions in Morocco. Our collaborating health care professionals may give orientation and advice when needed. Some patients may be eligible for aid: transportation, lodging, some treatment related expenses upon meeting some criteria, feedback of our medical commission and availability of funding. Yes, we offer restricted financial assistance to breast cancer patients in need. Patients are never given money , but some of their scans, transportation, accommodation fees and other expenses may be offered if ceratin conditions are met. Our organization facilitates mediation between donors and individuals facing financial challenges due to their breast cancer journey.
