3rd Edition of CODays: Advancing Patient-Centered Oncology Care

The 3rd Edition of CODays, held under the theme “The Patient at the Heart of Innovation,” brought together oncology specialists from Morocco and around the globe to discuss cutting-edge developments in cancer care. The conference featured a collaborative session with the recently launched Moroccan Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MoASCC), proudly sharing the news of its official recognition as an affiliate of the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC). This milestone highlighted the association’s commitment to advancing supportive cancer care in Morocco and exploring opportunities for international collaboration.
Key discussions at CODays 2024 revolved around innovations prioritizing patient well-being, such as telemonitoring and the use of digital oncology tools to enhance care delivery and manage the side effects of treatments. The event also included in-depth sessions on various cancers, including lung, breast, prostate, and digestive cancers, focusing on new therapeutic approaches like perioperative treatments, radiotherapy advancements, and personalized medicine.
Renowned oncology experts from Morocco, the USA, Canada, France, and across Africa graced the event, sharing their expertise and perspectives. Sponsored symposiums by leading pharmaceutical companies such as AstraZeneca, Pfizer, and Roche provided additional insights into the latest innovations in oncology treatment.
The 3rd Edition of CODays also welcomed the President of NABD-BC2 Association, Ikram Eseghir, as one of the moderators of a key session. Her participation underscored the event’s collaborative approach, bringing together leading oncology experts and patient care associations to foster dialogue and innovation in cancer treatment.
With a strong focus on patient-centered care, CODays 2024 reaffirmed the Oncology Clinic 16 Novembre’s dedication to advancing the quality of cancer treatment in Morocco. The inclusion of advocacy association leaders as moderators further emphasized the event’s commitment to strengthening partnerships and establishing CODays as a pivotal platform for progress in oncology.
