NABD-BC2 Participates in the 11th National and 4th African Congress of Pharmaco-economics and Pharmaco-epidemiology
May 29 @ 9:00 am - May 31 @ 5:00 pm
NABD-BC2 association is proud to have taken part in the 11th National and 4th African Congress of Pharmaco-economics and Pharmaco-epidemiology, organized by SMEPS (Moroccan Society for Health Product Economics), held in Rabat, Morocco, from May 29 to 31, 2025. The association was represented by its president, Ms. Ikram Eseghir.
This high-level event brought together healthcare professionals, patient advocates, policy experts, and researchers to discuss pressing topics such as drug pricing regulation, equitable access to innovation, patient-centered approaches, and international health system models. The Congress offered a valuable platform for exchanging insights on building sustainable, inclusive, and impactful healthcare systems across Africa and beyond.
Ms. Ikram Eseghir delivered a compelling presentation during a session supported by Novartis Laboratories, dedicated to “The Impact of Access to Innovation on Patients’ Quality of Life.” Her intervention highlighted the crucial role of therapeutic innovation in transforming patient care and empowering patient voices within policy frameworks. Her contribution was widely praised for its clarity, depth, and strong advocacy for patients’ rights and well-being.
We thank SMEPS for their kind invitation and commend the scientific and organizing committees for the excellence of the program, the diversity of expert contributions, and the ongoing efforts to integrate patient associations into meaningful healthcare dialogues.
Through such initiatives, NABD-BC2 reaffirms its commitment to improving patient experiences, promoting equity in access to care, and amplifying the voices of patient communities in national and international health forums.
NABD-BC2; let your voice be heard!
