Emotional Detox Workshop: Let’s listen to our body

On the occasion of World Cancer Day, and in keeping with its annual commitment to marking this important day, NABD-BC2 Association organized an emotional detox workshop on February 4, 2026, under the theme: “Let’s Listen to Our Body.”

This initiative was designed to provide psychological support to women living with breast cancer, accompanying them with care and compassion throughout their treatment journey.

The workshop was facilitated by Mrs. Fatima Ounjar, a specialist in training, psychological counseling, cupping therapy, yoga, and sophrology.

Focused on restoring harmony between body, mind, and spirit, the workshop combined reflective dialogue with practical exercises, including:

  • Guidance on proper posture and sensory awareness to reconnect with the present moment.

  • Techniques to deepen body awareness and listen attentively to bodily signals and needs.

  • Exercises promoting self-acceptance and reframing limiting or negative beliefs.

  • Practices reinforcing self-love and cultivating inner balance and alignment.

The session concluded in a serene and uplifting atmosphere with a tea gathering accompanied by soft music, offering participants a moment of calm and shared connection. In a thoughtful and warmly appreciated gesture, Mrs. Ounjar also facilitated a henna activity, an aesthetic and symbolic touch that brought joy while strengthening participants’ sense of dignity, beauty, and self-worth.

NABD-BC2 extends its sincere appreciation to Mrs. Fatima Ounjar for her dedicated facilitation, as well as to all coordinators and volunteers whose teamwork and commitment contributed to the success of this initiative, further advancing the Association’s mission to enhance the quality of life of the women it serves.
