Capacity-Building Workshop on Administrative and Financial Management for Board Members

May 25 @ 9:30 am - 6:00 pm

As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen internal capacities and improve the quality of its services, NABD-BC2 Association organized an intensive capacity-building workshop on Sunday, May 25, 2025, in Kenitra. The training targeted members of the association’s executive board as well as its regional coordinators, and was held under the theme: Administrative and Financial Management of the Association.

This workshop was facilitated by Mr. Mohamed Belkadi, Administrative and Financial Director of the Cancer… We Are All Concerned Association in Tetouan, accompanied by Mr. Ahmed Jahjah, Deputy Financial Officer of the same organization. Drawing from extensive field experience, both experts provided practical and insightful guidance focused on good governance practices in nonprofit administrative and financial operations.

The full-day training program was structured around two key thematic areas:

Administrative Management and Stakeholder Engagement:
This session highlighted the importance of legal literacy, documentation, and record-keeping practices, and effective communication with beneficiaries. Emphasis was placed on values such as dignity, confidentiality, and respectful interaction with breast cancer patients.

Financial Management and Governance:
The afternoon session focused on core financial principles, roles and responsibilities within the financial committee, and essential tools for financial oversight, planning, and reporting. Participants also explored common challenges related to financial management in civil society organizations and how to address them through structured documentation and continuous learning.

The workshop was marked by strong participant engagement and dynamic discussions, which enriched the learning experience and reinforced the association’s commitment to organizational excellence.

The event concluded with a certificate ceremony in recognition of both the facilitators and attendees. Group photos were taken to commemorate this collaborative and impactful training day, reflecting the association’s unwavering mission to uphold the dignity of breast cancer patients and to ensure quality, compassion-driven support through shared responsibility and continuous capacity building.
