Celebrating Academic Achievement and Meaningful Engagement

On 10 July 2025, NABD-BC2 Association proudly celebrated the graduation ceremony of the Diplôme Universitaire Patient Partenaire en Cancérologie (DUPCC). 

This memorable event gathered the laureates of two promotions of the diploma, hosted at the headquarters of Friends of Pink Ribbon Association, under the leadership of Mme Latifa Chérif, who contributed to bringing this training to Morocco after successfully completing it at the Université des Patients – Sorbonne, France. 

We are honored to celebrate the success of Mrs. Ikram Eseghir, Mrs. Rajae Essouabeny, and in loving memory of Najoua Rai, who also earned her diploma but sadly left us too soon. 

This milestone reflects not only an academic achievement but also the meaningful engagement of persons with lived experience of cancer (PWLE) in advancing patient-centered care in Morocco. 

The ceremony also offered a valuable moment for sharing experiences, where the laureates reflected on how they have put their diploma into practice, highlighting their contributions, initiatives, and the positive impact on patient support and advocacy. 

Together, we continue to build capacity, foster advocacy, and amplify the voice of PWLE in oncology.
