NABD-BC2 Participates in the Awareness Day Marking World Cancer Day at ISPITS in Fez

NABD-BC2 Association, represented by its Vice President, Mrs. Nezha Raoui, participated in the activities of the awareness day organized at the Cancer Research Institute in Fez. The event was held at the invitation of the Master’s program in “Leadership and Management in Sexual and Reproductive Health,” in partnership with the Research Laboratory “Care Sciences and Health Technologies” affiliated with the Higher Institute of Nursing Professions and Health Techniques (ISPITS), in commemoration of World Cancer Day on February 4th. 

This participation provided an important opportunity to strengthen collaboration between academic stakeholders and civil society actors, and to exchange perspectives on advancing cancer prevention and improving the quality of patient care. During the event, Mrs. Nezha Raoui delivered a presentation highlighting the association’s cumulative journey, strategic objectives, and commitment to advocating for and empowering women with breast cancer. 

Her intervention also focused on the Association’s key areas of work, particularly psychosocial support mechanisms and ongoing awareness and sensitization programs aimed at promoting early detection, prevention, and mitigating the health and social impacts of cancer. The contribution was well received and highly appreciated by participants, who commended the Association’s sustained and impactful efforts in this field.

The awareness day concluded with renewed expressions of thanks and appreciation to all speakers, partners, and contributors who supported the success of the event, alongside a reaffirmation of the importance of continued collaboration in advancing public health and fostering a culture of solidarity and shared responsibility.
