NABD-BC2 Raising Awareness at Pad’elle Cup 2026
NABD-BC2 association opened this year’s Pink October campaign by taking part in Pad’elle Cup 2026, held in Casablanca on October 3 and 4. Organised by Padel Lab with the support of the Royal Moroccan Tennis Federation, the tournament brings sport and solidarity together in the fight against breast and cervical cancer. Over the weekend, players, families and visitors filled the event village, and the NABD-BC2 stand was there to welcome them, with one goal: raising awareness about breast cancer.
Visitors were first drawn to a jar filled with questions about breast cancer. Each person picked one and tried to answer it. Some answered with confidence, while others were surprised to discover what they did not know. Every question opened a real conversation about risk factors, warning signs, common myths and, above all, the importance of early detection.
Next to the jar stood a message board dedicated to women living with breast cancer. Visitors were invited to leave a few words for patients, and little by little, the board filled with messages of hope, strength and solidarity for women going through treatment.
As a token of gratitude, everyone who stopped by received a keychain. By the end of the weekend, 84 keychains had been handed out. Each one was a small reminder of the cause, and of the conversations that took place at the stand.
On the first day, the association was represented by Ikram Eseghir, President; Rajae Essouabeny, Treasurer; Hajar Gdader, Advocacy Strategy Lead; and Amina Fikri, Coordinator. On the second day, Nezha Raoui, Vice President, joined Hajar Gdader and Amina Fikri at the stand.
NABD-BC2 warmly thanks Mme Chamsi Alami for her kind invitation, and congratulates the organizers on the great success of this edition of Pad’elle Cup. The association also thanks every visitor who took a question, left a message or simply stopped to talk. For NABD-BC2, each conversation is one more step toward earlier detection and stronger support for patients.
Pink October has only just begun!
