International Women’s Day Marked by a Solidarity Iftar

As part of its initiatives aimed at strengthening psychosocial support, and in celebration of International Women’s Day on 8 March 2026, the Lions Club of the National School of Business and Management (ENCG) in Kenitra, in partnership with NABD-BC2 Association, organized a collective Ramadan Iftar for women living with cancer.

The event commenced with a warm welcome, during which members of the Lions Club introduced themselves and presented their respective roles and responsibilities within the club. They also highlighted the objectives of this meaningful humanitarian partnership with NABD-BC2 and emphasized its commitment to supporting vulnerable groups, particularly women living with cancer. On behalf of NABD-BC2, Mrs. Ikram Eseghir expressed her sincere gratitude to the Lions Club members for their outstanding collaboration and generosity.

The programme featured an engaging educational and cultural quiz designed specifically for the beneficiaries. The activity aimed to enrich their knowledge while creating an atmosphere filled with joy, interaction, and laughter. At the call to the Maghrib prayer, participants gathered around a shared  Iftar, where they enjoyed a complete meal in a warm family-like environment that reflected the values of solidarity, compassion, and the spirit of Ramadan.

The evening continued with a musical performance by a local band, whose artistic presentation greatly contributed to lifting the spirits of the participants and providing them with moments of relaxation and emotional comfort. The solidarity event concluded with Lions Club members presenting symbolic gifts to all the beneficiaries, leaving a lasting positive impression and making this initiative another successful milestone in the Association’s ongoing mission to provide social and psychological support.

On this occasion, NABD-BC2 extends its heartfelt thanks to the Lions Club of the National School of Business and Management in Kenitra, as well as to everyone whose efforts contributed to the success of this memorable event.
