NABD-BC2 Walks for Early Detection at the Pink March in Rabat
NABD-BC2 association continued its Pink October campaign by taking part in the Pink March & Run, held on October 11, 2026 at the Ibn Sina Urban Forest in Rabat. Organised by the Moroccan Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MoASCC), the event aimed to raise awareness about the early detection of women’s cancers. More than 200 participants gathered at the main entrance of the forest that morning: patients, physicians, families, partners and associations who had travelled from across Morocco.
Dressed in white tops, as the organisers had asked, participants set off at 10 a.m. on two routes, a 4 km walk and a 7 km run, under the tall trees of the forest. Along the way, the march became a moment of exchange and solidarity, as patients and survivors walked side by side with doctors, volunteers and supporters, all carrying the same message: early detection saves lives.
For NABD-BC2, the day was also about showing up for patients beyond its own city. The association made the trip from Kenitra to Rabat, and MoASCC kindly thanked NABD-BC2 by name for travelling to join the march.
NABD-BC2 warmly thanks MoASCC for its invitation and for organising such a meaningful event, and congratulates the team on bringing so many people together for this cause. The association also thanks every patient, physician and participant who walked that morning. For NABD-BC2, each step taken together is one more step toward earlier detection and stronger support for women facing cancer.
Pink October continues!
