Pink October Wrap-Up: A Morning of Wellness at Mehdia Beach

On the final day of Pink October, NABD-BC2 brought its beneficiaries together for a morning by the sea at Mehdia Beach. This outing was made possible by Ms. Hanan Habbouba, a therapist and sports coach who wanted to open it to the women we support and who designed the entire programme. After a month focused on breast cancer awareness, the day was all about self-care: a chance for our beneficiaries to slow down, breathe, and simply enjoy being together.

We started the day with a half-hour walk along the beach, led by sports coach Mehdi. With the ocean breeze and Mehdi’s encouragement setting the pace, everyone moved at their own rhythm and set off on the right foot.

Ms. Hanane then guided a series of gentle sessions. Pilates and yoga helped participants stretch, strengthen, and reconnect with their breathing, and the morning closed with a soothing sound bath that left many feeling deeply relaxed and at peace. Through her attentiveness, expertise, and care for each participant’s needs, Ms. Hanan Habbouba created a space of kindness and calm that truly touched everyone present.

We are deeply grateful to Ms. Hanan Habbouba, whose initiative made this day possible, for her generosity, her commitment, and the thought she put into every detail. A warm thank you also to Coach Mehdi for his energy and professionalism, and to every participant who joined us. Your energy and warmth are what made this morning so special.

This first experience together was truly meaningful, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration with Ms. Hanane and building new projects together for the well-being of the women we support.

At NABD-BC2, we believe that healing involves more than medical treatment. Supporting patients’ physical, emotional, and social well-being is at the heart of what we do, and we will keep creating moments like this one that build confidence, foster connection, and bring a little more light to every step of the journey.
